The Truth About Anger, Not a Problem But a Skill
CAAAP in the Courtroom
The Comprehensive Anger Assessment and Analysis Profile (CAAAP) consists of 260 Questions in the form of a 4 point likerts scale and 5 open-ended questions. The CAAAP is broken down into 7 domains of anger. From those domains five domains measure anger problems and two domains measure resources. The problem domains identify the anger domains that need to be addressed in treatment, while the resource domains tell us what resources the client already uses to deal with his/her anger and how open they are to treatment.
After the assessment is completed and the domains scored, then profiles are identified. The profiles identified are essential in generating the treatment plan. If an agency purchases the assessments , the treatment plan and a detailed report is sent to the administrator upon completion.
We do offer the CAAAP Shortform which is condensed version of the CAAAP and consists of only 56 questions. This is ideal for someone going through a short 8 week course or screening an entire course. While both assessments include all 7 domains and contain the same validity measures the full CAAAP is recommended for high stakes situations because the results returned will be much more in-depth and will include a very detailed report and very thorough treatment plan. Our treatment plans are actionable and our reports are legally defensible.
